See Our Family offers a family oriented service, to present information about one's family and family members. See Our Family offers its users private space they may share with family and friends.
See Our Family wishes to follow a Code of Ethics on the material it hosts, and will enforce it. Misuse of the service, may result in information being removed and/or accounts being terminated.

Code of Ethics:

• See Our Family believes in individual's privacy – family members may at any time contact See Our Family to update or remove information concerning them, with or without the consent of the Family Administrators. Information submitted to See Our Family will not be made available to anyone, but those designated by Family Administrators. Family Administrators have acknowledged See Our Family's Code of Ethic, and will be held personally and financially responsible for the information submitted to the site. In the event that more than one Family Administrator is registered for a given See Our Family site, See Our Family will pursue Family Administrators collectively and/or the See Our Family initial Family Administrator (original creator of the site) regardless of his/her administrative status then, at the time of the potential Code of Ethics misconduct, or at the time of the correction procedure.
• See Our Family believes in hosting clean "family oriented" material – the site will not accept any material representing in text of in image, nudity, violence, racial, religious or sexual prejudice. According to the gravity of the offence, See Our Family will at its discretion remove the information and/or close the See Our Family site.
• See Our Family believes in its users' privacy – See Our Family will not apply any automated content filtering devices or services. It will not systematically scan See Our Family sites, and will not sell, publish or otherwise transmit any information submitted to the site to any third party. On requests by users or properly warranted authorities, See Our Family will seek and remove any information that may either infringe See Our Family's individual privacy rules, See Our Family's clean "family oriented" material rule, or in general See Our Family's Code of Conduct.
• See Our Family in its Free Starters package offers its users, the use of a free hosting space it finances by placing advertising. In order to increase the relevance of this advertising, See Our Family may transmit to Google AdSense information regarding its own activities and centres of interest. Google AdSense may use IP based location information and other automated browser information to target its advertising. See Our Family will seek to enforce its Code of Ethics on Google AdSense for the advertising it presents, but will not be held responsible for it.

See Our Family is a European entity offering its services via the Internet to a global audience. As issues of privacy and clean conduct may vary from country to country, See Our Family may enforce its Code of Ethics on issues that may be considered as benign the certain local users. The user is responsible for the information he/she submits, and must verify that it complies with the laws and customs of land of his/her location at the time of submission.

Users may cancel their account at any time, which will be terminated immediately. However Family Tree Administrators will see their account information kept for a period of one (1) year and one (1) year after the termination of the Family Tree in the case of the Family Tree Owner.

Please note this Privacy Policy will change from time to time. We expect most such changes to be minor, but there may be changes that are more significant. Regardless, we will post those changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will also provide a more prominent notice. Each version will be noted at the top of the page.
